We had our first test episode.

Not too long ago, we covered Pope Francis

and looked at the four key figures in his speech to Congress.

Today, we're going to be looking at something

a little more fundamental.

I'd like to talk about something that Catholic theologians

call the Carigma, the Colonel, the Gospel.

In Pope Francis' encyclical, Evangelium, Gaudium,

he talks about the need to recover the Carigma.

He said, we've missed this a lot.

We focus a lot on the secondary issues.

We really need to get back to the basic core of the Gospel.

So Bishop Barron, I figure who better to proclaim

the core of the Gospel than you?

And especially in a world that so often misses

what Christian is all about.
