He operates the Secret Sun blog. And I had him on about a couple months ago to talk about an excellent book called Endless American Midnight. And in the interim, he sent me some information. As a lot of people know, I've written a book about the West Memphis 3, titled Abomination.

But there are pieces, vague spots about the events that I didn't understand.

But when he sent me these slides, which he's going to go through, it really clarified vague things about what happened on May 5, 1993.

The West Memphis 3 are back in the news that people don't know.

They were talking about trying to get evidence.

It was blocked.

They wrote, you know, when they signed their agreement in 2011, they said they, you know,

they gave up any rights to go back through and retry the case,

which is essentially what they were trying to do. So the judge kicked

that out. But yeah, so this is really fine. It's very timely, really great research. I'm delighted

to have Chris Knowles back. So Chris, please just go into maybe your background and how you became

interested in the West Memphis 3 and this part of the West Memphis 3 case that you looked into.

Well, you know, I hadn't really thought about it for a long time.

I started thinking about it when they were trying to rehabilitate Eccles with the stranger things for push.

You know, there was a big publicity push and they then they were really kind of talking about, and talking a lot of stuff about satanic panic,

which is a concept that I just, I mean, you know, you've read the book. You know, I have a great

deal of problems with that whole, that whole notion. And it's interesting to me because the people who usually push it

people who either a don't know what they're talking about or B have some sort of vested interest in

in Satanism so I hadn't really thought about for a long time I I mean, I was just going along with the crowd.

I mean, I hadn't paid a lot of attention to it,

but I actually bought two of the benefit CDs.
