turn with me tonight to hebrews chapter 13 we've been on the subject of uh living free of

covetousness without covetousness and i know that at first listen that might not sound to

appealing to you but it's a good thing.

If it's in the word, it's a very good thing.

And the verse that's not your favorite verse is the one that you just don't know much about

or you're not doing.

But we have a great desire to not just be Bible thumpers and tape players but be actual doers, doers of the word.

Hebrews 13 and 5 has been our main text for these weeks.

It says, let your conversation be without covetousness and be content with such things

as you have for he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Now, he tells us that our conversation which means our manner of life the way we live should be without covetousness that means we our whole life should be completely

free of covetousness, not even a little bit

of the junk do we need. We need to be, have zero tolerance for covetousness in our life. Don't get

to judging somebody else and tell them, well, you just covetous. That's your probably. Well, no,

no, turn that thing around.

Deal with yourself.

And the reason I say that is because as we go, you will see covetousness.

You'll see it more and more, and you won't just see it in you, you'll see it in other people,

but you're not their judge.

You'd have to judge yourself and walk in patience and love with other folks.

You got a lot of people who have that turned around,

don't they?
