30 years of interval experience including more than a decade as a Viking

Central manager.

And that handsome devil between us, that's Pete Prisko,

who also has more than 30 years covering the league.

And today, Pete, we're going through your Better Than team,

which you release every single year before the draft and before we get going once you get

the fine folks who are watching us what what is the description of the better than team so we can

understand what we're doing here? It's players I like more than the scouts and I've something I've been doing for a long time and by that I you know not all scouts but most of the scouts I like guys down the line guys who I think are going to end up being pretty good players.

Some of them end up being first round they have in the past,

but most of them are not.

And guys that have been the captains in the past are Levante David,

you know, you look at him, he's turned out to be a hell of a player.

Grady Jarrett was a captain once upon a time.

Now, there's been some captains that I've missed on.

I'm not going to say they all hit.

But they're down the line guys that I think are going to be better. How does the process work? I watch a ton of college football during the season. Guy stands out to me. I got his name down. Once the NFL season ends, I start, you know, deep into my draft prep and I start watching a lot of tape on these guys.

And if I watch their tape and I still like them, then they make the list.

If I watch their tape and I don't like them, they get cut from the list.
