are delayed for millions of Americans, but even before the recent political and legal fight over

SNAP funding, food insecurity was already a major problem. Here in Seattle, more people

are visiting food banks and food prices are on the rise.

Government subsidized premiums from the ACA allow millions of Americans to afford to buy health care.

Extending those premium subsidies into 2026 is the central issue in the current federal government shutdown. The roundtable starts at 2 p.m.
