Hey, my friend, welcome back. It is time to the morning mindset. I hope you are ready right

now to get your mind aligned with the truth of God's word as we're going to be reading it in

Proverbs chapter 8 verse 13. We're going through this series called Wise Among Fools.

It's an effort for us to gain wisdom, to learn what God's wisdom in our lives

is like. Let me start out by asking you this question. Are there any things in life that

you just absolutely hate?

And I know hate is a strong word,

but think this through for a moment.

Are there any character qualities,

maybe in yourself or in others, that just drive you up a wall.

Any particular habits or behaviors that you just recognize the damage of them and you just hate that it happens or that it exists

in the world. Sometimes we hate the consequence of our sin. Well today we're going to be talking

about some things that wise people actually hate.

It's wise to hate these things.

We're going to dig into it in just a moment.

But before we get going, I want to let you know

about a resource I've created that goes right along with this series.

It's a Proverbs study guide, a Proverbs journal, so to speak, and what it has is a translation of the

Bible on one page and blank pages on the opposite side.

Now that doesn't sound like much, but with Proverbs I find myself always wanting to take notes,

I'm trying to jot things down in the margin and there simply isn't enough room.

Because my practice is to go through the proverb that corresponds to the day every day.
