All right, Wink, we've got some more clarity here

with what's going on in training camp

and no preseason games.

I want to talk about that, but first we've got

to get the local news out of the way which is Rahim Mostert and the team and the player got together to meet and clear the air a little bit which I think is good. I don't know if that means that they're going to give him a little bit more scratch if he's cool and he's going to show up and everything's fine if it was just a yeah you called my bluff I wasn't going to actually hold out or anything like that but I had to try I have a feeling it's one of those things with Mostert, but NFL networks, Ian Rappaport reported Monday that

Mostert did meet with somebody. I don't know if it was the coach or the GM because he the way he put it was a

high-ranking member of the 49ers organization maybe going straight to the top and was like

hey Jed can you give me some more money man right just a little bit I hope you guys get to the Super Bowl, remember?

But to clear the air and get on the same page moving forward according to sources that were informed about that

conversation and Brett Tesla the agent who went public on

Twitter saying that they had requested a trade said hopefully that'll be the case

so yeah months of unproductive talks between most certain the 49ers trying to get a little bit more money and I would bet on him being the leading Russia in 2020 if he plays.

And to be honest, I think he'll earn more money if he doesn't get more money now just go

ball out and I think he'll make a lot more going for. Yeah. Yeah the reports I've

heard coming out saying that it's more along the lines of getting some of that

contract guaranteed
