We're starting something new that we're calling the Meet the Press College Round Tip.

From today through the end of June, we're going to host student journalists from colleges

around the country and turning Meet the Press over to them.

These are some of the smartest young journalists in the country and we think you'll enjoy hearing

them, asking newsmakers tough questions about the college experience, the economy that

they're about to enter into.

And what to do about roommates in the age of coronavirus among others.

So for the next few weeks, we're going to share each of these episodes in your feet.

Welcome to Meet the Press College Round Table with just a few months to go before the start

of the fall semester.

College students are facing deadlines for housing and tuition without a clear answer as

to what exactly they're paying for.

Will there be an in-person semester?

How will universities keep students safe?

Will the traditional college experience of roommates and lifelong friends be even available

to them?

Or will it become a thing of the past?

When Meet the Press first aired over 70 years ago, it was a very different format than

what you see for the most part today.

A moderator brought together a panel of journalists who took turns asking questions of a single guest.
