You can't overstate how important the two special elections in Georgia are.

Shame of that all is that it's the only state in the union where you have to get 50% of the vote plus one in order to win the seat on general election day.

Senator Purdue, I understand in the other special election that was going on with multiple Republicans, multiple Democrats, 21 people,

something like that. Clearly no one would receive 50% plus one. So it wound up that Raphael Warnock

got the most votes. Kelly Leffler finished second and Representative Doug Collins, a respectable and fairly close third.

So it would be Warnock and Leffler in a runoff in a special election, and you would expect that.

That was guaranteed.

What was torturous on the other racist side, Senator Purdue was above 50% for almost the entire time.
