0:44.5	You can't overstate how important the two special elections in Georgia are.
0:50.1	Shame of that all is that it's the only state in the union where you have to get 50% of the vote plus one in order to win the seat on general election day.
1:03.5	Senator Purdue, I understand in the other special election that was going on with multiple Republicans, multiple Democrats, 21 people,
1:14.6	something like that. Clearly no one would receive 50% plus one. So it wound up that Raphael Warnock
1:21.3	got the most votes. Kelly Leffler finished second and Representative Doug Collins, a respectable and fairly close third.
1:30.3	So it would be Warnock and Leffler in a runoff in a special election, and you would expect that.
1:36.2	That was guaranteed.
1:37.6	The math would make it so.
1:40.5	What was torturous on the other racist side, Senator Purdue was above 50% for almost the entire time.
1:52.4	And then at the very end, he went just below something like 7,000 votes out of 5 million.
