Summary

What happens when justice trips over its own shoelaces? In Richard Allen's case, the defense is calling out glaring issues like missing evidence, mishandled testimonies, and the alleged psychological damage caused by extreme confinement and heavy medication. From a judge's controversial move to remove attorneys, to confessions that read more like a bad dream than solid evidence, it’s a mess of epic proportions. Could the prosecution’s alleged missteps and a shaky timeline about a mysterious white van spell a second chance for Allen? And if so, what would that look like in the cold, unflinching world of appellate courts?
