Hey, fam, welcome to the free trail podcast. Of course, I'm your loving host, Dylan Bowman, here today with Will Murray, one of the breakout stars and stories of the

2025 season, finishing second place at the Black Canyon 100K and then winning, setting a

massive new course record at the Havelina 100 in the fall, lowering the previous standard

on the course by more than 30 minutes, an amazing performance that gave Will another golden ticket to Western

States, an opportunity that he missed out on due to injury after Black Canyon last year.

And I have to say, Will is rad.

I loved this conversation.

He has, I think, a natural soft-spoken demeanor, but clearly he's got the heart of a lion. He has

a lot of very interesting things to share, especially around his own self-talk, the work that he

does to develop a strong psychology, around his relationship with the internet and social media,

and a lot more. And at only 30 years old, he very

much feels like a wise young man now entering the prime of his career. And speaking of which,

we are also here to discuss Will's brand new partnership with Brooks riding the success of the

2025 season. Will signed his first pro athlete contract, joining the stacked

Brooks roster that features many of the sports most exciting young athletes.
