Do you know what a dirty soda is?

No one, I'm scared.

So a dirty soda is a soda that's kind of just been jazzed up with things like syrup and creamer and half and half.

It sounds awful, but it is best known for being the favorite drink of Mom Talk, the Mormon women who make up the cast of the secret lives of Mormon wives, which is a newish reality show on Hulu.

Their second season just came out. That is the subject of our episode today. But first,

I wanted to do a taste test. Yeah. And I just want to say you really hauled ass up and down,

New York to find this. I'm really proud of you. Let's talk about it. No one asked me to do this, by the way. I just was like, I got it. Because Mormons typically do not drink alcohol or drink coffee. So these sort of dirty sodas are essentially their version of a silly little drink. Once you see it, you'll notice that all the women in the secret lives of Mormon wives are holding these. Like, you may think they're acting like that because they're drunk, but just look what they're holding. They are just hopped up

on sugar and cream. It's their go-go juice. And so what kind did you get? Okay, well, first I should

say that the place where you see most of these women get their dirty sodas in the show is a franchise

called Swig. It has locations all

over the south and Midwest of the U.S., but zero in California, so I couldn't force you to do this
