That's the voice of Eli Albag. His daughter is a hostage in Gaza. His daughter, Liri,

is why he is in London, because he's speaking to the British government in the hope that they

can put more pressure on the Qataris, who will put more pressure on Hamas that will somehow lead to some

progress in what has become an intractable and brutal conflict.

Ellie's joined in the studio by a young woman, Ziv Abud, who's the girlfriend of Eliia Cohen. He's 27 and he has also been taken hostage,

taken in front of her eyes. They were both at the music festival together. Today we're going to

hear what they're asking our government to do and we're going to hear from the Israeli government about what their

plan is for the hostages, for the people of Gaza and for peace in that region. Welcome to the

since more than 200 hostages were taken from Israel to Gaza,

since the killing, the slaughter, the rape of many other Israeli civilians that day,

and since the beginning of a war which has seen thousands

of Garzan citizens, women, children, as well as men, perish and many more now on the brink

of starvation.

And a hundred days into this war, it is worth saying that although Israel has enormous military might,

it is clear that Hamas has not been destroyed, has not been beaten. Yesterday was the worst

single day of fighting from the Israeli point of view, with 24 Israeli servicemen killed in one day. So it is obvious that Hamas is still
