And I am here with the author of the new book, I am prancing as fast as I can. He was a writer and

executive producer on Will & Grace, Ugly Betty. I am here with John Canali live from

Citges Spain. How are you? Hello, I'm fine. Thank you for having me. Walk me through your day

so far today. Oh, I got got up late i worked a little bit on

instagram stuff i'm still figuring out like long into this how to be you know how to do it

wait well no but like what do you mean you worked on some instagram stuff oh i i guess i mean i

worked on some posts than things that I've got to post every day.

You know, content.

It's all about content if you didn't know that.

Oh, you think I don't know that?

I do think you know that.

Yeah, and that always stresses me out because I feel like I'm out of my depth.

I mean, you have had an interesting trajectory. Did you grow up or did you just go to college upstate? I went to college upstate. I was from Syracuse. Okay. I am from Syracuse. And I went to Oswego College, which is like just 40 minutes north of Syracuse on Lake Ontario. Yeah. So you're from upstate New York.. Then, of course, you move to New York City where you're really involved in Act Up.

You form all of your creative, collaborative friends.

And then you wind up moving to L.A.

and have a phenomenal career in writing for television comedies.

And so, and what's fascinating is you now live in Sichis, Spain.

And so I'm curious just how, like, day to day, how is your day the week today?

I know, obviously, you're promoting your book, but how is just day-to-day life living in

Citrus Spain, which is essentially like the province town of Spain, as compared to like your life

in L.A. Oh, they're exactly the same. No, they're not. L.A. is just, there is no traffic here,
