with David Jolly, who is the Democratic candidate for governor here in 26. David grew up here in

Florida. He's the son of a pastor. Today, he and his wife

are raising their family in Pinellas County. David served in Congress from 2014 to 2017 and focused

on veterans, seniors, supporting law enforcement, protecting the environment and bringing

resources back to Florida. He also worked on cleaning up government corruption, which we can talk a lot

about. David became nationally known for his independence streak, leading the Tampa Bay Times direct quote.

It's refreshing to hear someone take on the system.

One Washington Post columnist famously penned, Jolly speaks the truth.

And upon leaving Congress, another columnist wrote farewell to one of those congressmen willing to compromise maybe on issues, David, but not values.
