As we close out the 2024 year, I wanted to return to something that we haven't talked much about,

just given the distractions of the 2024 election and everything that's gone on in this pretty crazy electoral year,

the assassination attempts, the switching of the lead Democratic candidate, and of course, all the different craziness that happened near the end in terms of the Kamala Harris situation,

the Biden situation, the Hunter Biden pardon, and everything else that's gone on this past year. And that's Congress. Obviously, this year was an interesting year for the Congress

because they have to navigate the electoral demands. And you had the accidental speaker still,

Mike Johnson, in the role of the speakership, someone who's had a pretty soft hand when it comes

to guiding the Republican Party through all of this. Republicans ended up only barely holding

on to the House majority that they have. And that's really something that they should feel
