Could Chris Rock be the host of next year's Oscars?

An executive at ABC has already said he's open to the idea.

He wants to make next year's show, quote, even better, ratings were up by 58% this year.

There were 16.6 million viewers compared to last year's 9.8 million viewers, and I'm

wondering if they did the same thing I did.

I was not watching, but I was on social media.

And I saw everybody talking about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock, and I'm like, no way.

So I turned it on.

Yeah, last half.

Yeah, that was the first, but last half we watched.

So they're thinking next year's ceremony, which is taking place Sunday, March 12th, potentially

could be Chris Rock, and of course Will Smith is banned from attending the Oscars for the

next 10 years.

So he would at least be safe on stage, because Will Smith would not be in presence.

Is he though?

Is he?

Because someone might still want to slap him.

I feel like they're going to have to put him in one of those glass cases the way they do

it, like the drummer at a blues bar.

Is there a man who's going to be throwing glass bottles at him?

If the Academy Awards had any sense of humor at all, which they don't, they would put everybody
