Hello everybody, welcome to Three Point Perspective, the podcast about illustration, how to do it, how to make a living at it, and how to make an impact in the world with your art.

I'm Jake Parker. I'm Lee White. And I'm Will Terry, and all three of us are professional illustrators.

We've all illustrated for all the major publishers. We've together

published somewhere around 75 books, and we've all taught illustration at the university level.

That's right. Each week we come at you guys with listener questions and fascinating topics

in illustration. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we argue, but each time you're going to learn

something brand spanking new. All right. Here we are. I should let our listeners know that

our podcasting drop dropping, like what do you say? our podcasting schedule when we drop podcasts

drop schedule been affected at all however we have been on vacation from recording podcasts for

two months now so this is our first time meeting back together since May, I think.

Do we record one in June?

2019 or something like that.

Yeah.

No, no.

So we just recorded a bunch of episodes so we could take the summer off.

And that's how I think you run a sustainable podcast that you don't get burned out on it, right?

Yeah.

Seems like the right thing to do.

And we're still, like we said in the intro, we're still working illustrators.

So we have projects and stuff.

At some point, you've got to do some work.

You know, exactly.
