Summary

Damon Thompson Ministries - The Wilderness inherits a supreme promotion in value when we realize that it is God's ultimate zip code for releasing strategic patterns designed to receive and host His glory. If a man cannot be trusted to yield to the divine pull of the Father's jealousy made manifest in the wilderness, then that man will never be able to be trusted with the inheritance of the new wine-skin pattern. The new pattern is not intended to promote or in any way draw attention to the man, his church or his ministry; however this pattern is permission granted to build one distinct thing for one specific cause: a place where He comes and ultimately a place where He stays.

0:08.7	Many of you know I've been away for several days, not as many days as I wanted to be away,
0:13.3	but the father had other plans.
0:15.0	And so I was able to write some, and I'm going to talk to you tonight about going from
0:20.3	preparation to administration. And I'm going to talk to you tonight about going from preparation to administration.
0:23.0	And I'm going to use two pictures, maybe if we end up going that way, of how that journey shifted in Scripture.
0:30.3	One, the first one that I want to show you is I'm going to show you a shift between the tabernacle of Moses and the tabernacle of David.
0:37.2	The other shift I'm going to show you is from John to Yeshua,
0:41.3	from John the Baptist to Yeshua, how one forerunner was used for preparation,
0:47.3	another was intended for administration, and how difficult a time we have
0:53.3	shifting out of preparation into administration if the chief source of our
0:58.1	identity, which was for me for many years, has been preparation.
1:03.2	We can become so proficient at making a crooked path straight that we have no idea how to
1:08.4	function in a straight path.
1:12.4	Making high places low and making low places high that once the road is actually prepared
1:16.5	and all he asks of us is to walk with him, we lose our identity because our identity was
1:21.6	in fixing everything that was not a level place.
1:26.6	And it's why most of us have succeeded and and why our ministry
1:31.9	became known for many many years as a ministry like a john the baptist ministry that was there to
1:37.7	get people ready get people ready well once we what do we do once we've deemed that age successful
1:42.9	and people really already?
