All right, we're going to jump right in tonight and just see where Holy Spirit wants to take us,

what he's got designed for us this evening. I'm going to read you a couple of things I've been

I want you to remember that when we originally begin to talk concerning the wilderness,

it was never my intention to go into the wilderness because that's where John the Baptist was.

It was always my heart to recognize that when Yeshua goes to meet John the Baptist in the wilderness,

the baptism takes place, the sky splits, the dubbed descends, remains on Yeshua, the voice of the

the scripture says, the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness. Well, how many of you recognize he was already there?

He had to have gone into the wilderness in order to have encountered John the Baptist, but there

are dimensions to the wilderness. And there is a place that a forerunning man can take you,

and then there's a place Jesus will have to carry you himself. So we're going

to talk a little bit about the depths of the wilderness. As much as I believe that John the

Baptist was not the ultimate prototype of the wilderness, Jesus was, I also believe that Elijah

was not the ultimate prototype of the wilderness, but Elisha was. And so that'll be where we get into

some fun, interesting stuff tonight. I'm convinced that Yeshua felt as though he had no

responsibility for the measure of influence he carried within his culture. Yet he felt as though

he was 100% responsible for the measure of presence he carried into the culture.

Therefore, he inherited the authority to become far and away the most influential person in history.

This shift in focus is absolutely essential. If we are ever going to recover the authority we have forfeited by
