Not just a movie with a few fantastic well-managed Los Angeles locations. It's also where we're heading on today's musical journey. Wild! What should be fun and unruly, unrestrained, unregulated.

Now it merely stands as a distant reminder

to when rock was new and dangerous.

When you can take a somewhat interesting song

by a New York band called The Wild Ones

and garage it up to make this little chart topper from 1965.

That is absolutely right.
