This feels almost old school in a way. You know, we're talking about the Rams. We're talking Dan Campbell. And we're kind of doing it Sunday later, you know, almost like when we do year one, like kind of like a later pod. You know, you're on the road, of course. but it's just it's it feels just kind of like an old school pod right now so kind of a fun energy i

maybe that game is kind of just, you know, like turbo, give me a little turbo boost right into this pod. I think that that's why I wanted to go. I, you do, you do 18 weeks of the regular season. And I think we can forget sometimes that these games are actually

happening, and so few opportunities these days do I have to actually go to these games.

And I had Rams Lions circled. It was the game that we've been talking about for, what,

six weeks or so, and oh, man, this could happen. They could play in the first round of the playoffs.

And as soon as I saw, Detroit's four and a half hours away, let's do this. So I drove in the ice and the rain and the snow and the awfulness that is Midwest weather to get here yesterday. And I'm so glad that I did. What a game. What a weekend. Even though there's some blowouts, I think there's so much to chew on. But this game was everything we could have wanted it to be. And this is where we're going to start. Even from the moment I got into the stadium, I was the empty stadium. I got there really, really early and just kind of feeling the energy in the building and knowing it was the first time they'd hosted one of those in 30 years. The first time that building has ever hosted a Lions playoff game.

I heard of Pontiac Silver Dome reference tonight.

I was like, oh, man, some memory's got jogged there.

Which is funny because I was sitting next to Peter King at the game.

And when I worked for Peter in 2015 into 16, we were doing all these stories,

like road trip series throughout the country on the way to the Super Bowl. And Peter made me go to the Pontiac. He asked me. I was on assignment. I went to the Pontiac Soverdome. I went to the site where it was. So just a little bit of weird connections there as I think about tonight. But it being in that place, and even when they announced Jared Gough's name,
