I'm sorry about that. That's just kind of how life's been. Yeah, and I want to get better at getting in here every week, but because I haven't recorded in so long, I feel like I almost forget how to record. So I'm just going to double check that this video is going up live

yep it looks like it okay so I wanted to talk to you guys about

your toddler okay your little kids I want to tell you exactly why they're doing what they're doing

because I know sometimes you're like what the heck are you thinking why are you doing

this and I think when we're not or at at least me, like on a not great day, especially when my kids were really little.

I have a lot of young moms on our among the Lily's Marco Polo group and someone was just

asking about their three-year-old and she has a

baby and the three-year-olds acting out and being mean so she's like asking advice and I

actually haven't listened to everyone's two cents on it but I think it's a

great topic and so I'd love just to kind of spitball it with

y'all on here. Yeah I think that oftentimes what we think is when there is a toddler or a little kid when they throw a fit you're like oh my

goodness they're doing this because they hate me or when they wake up in the

middle of the night like I think we go to worst-case scenario and we're like oh my goodness my child hates me and wants me to never sleep the and they're jealous of the baby and they're just gonna whatever like I think we often go to that worst case scenario and most of the times it's a lot simpler it's like they don't have reason they haven't learned to become patient yet They only can think in the here and now.

They're very reactionary. This is part of the problem with the world now because I feel like we have a lot of

20-something-year-olds who are still kind of emotionally at a toddler's age, you know,

like a two or three-year-old. And so a two or three-year-old, they are told no, they can't have

ice cream right now. It doesn't matter if it's 8 a.m. in the morning they

melt down and they cry and like I want ice cream and they're all upset and it like

they can't think oh well it's morning time, it's breakfast, maybe I could have ice cream this afternoon

when it's a little more appropriate, when I'm outside playing, like they don't think like that, everything,
