Father Elias Carr is a canon regular of St. Augustine of Schiff, Kloistin Neuberg in Austria.

So he's coming from us from outside of Vien, outside of Vienna.

He co-founded the cannery of St. Leopold in 2011 in Glen Cove, New York, and now serves as the

camera of Cloister Neuberg.

He is also the pastor of the parish in Wiedling.

He defended his dissertation in the life in the early works of Raymond Schroger S.J., a friend

and collaborator of René Jard, who will be talking about in his latest book,

or this is, I Came to Cast Fire, an introduction to René Gerard.

So we'll talk about that, but welcome Father Elias.

You know that we, of course, said something in common.

You of the Dominicans, of course, said something in common. You of the Dominicans,

of course, were founded by a canon. That's exactly right. I was going to say, let's explain to our,

yeah, our listeners. So you are a canon regular and people are saying, well, where is the cannon

ball? Like, would you fire him out of something? Two ends. Exactly. Exactly. So, um, so we, and we were founded.

So Dominic was a canon. Um, and Father Elias, if you're watching or if you want to pop on, please pull off the road for a second. If you want to see, he's wearing something that looks like a casick, standard cassoc, you'd say, but he also has a cool other thing, which I assume will indicate what he is.

So if I lies first, explain us what a canon, what Augustine canon is, although this is more important since the recent Pope, I suppose, has a relationship. Yes, everybody wants to know these things now. So go ahead, quick, quick discussion about the, who are you? The Holy Father is a friar, like yourself. Yes. But following the rule of St. Augustine, you follow the rule of St. Augustine too.
