Over the weekend, President Trump explicitly commanded his Attorney General Pam Bondi to hurry up and prosecute his political enemies.

In a crazed truth social tirade, he even named the Democrats he wants prosecuted and ranted wildly about them,

even admitting that he'd ousted a career prosecutor for refusing to do his bidding. Since then, the story's gotten worse. White House

Press Secretary Caroline Levitt offered some comically awful spin to try to justify all this,

and Rolling Stone reports that Trump's open demand of his attorney general was so corrupt that it surprised

even some of Trump's own advisors who couldn't fathom that he'd wanted to be public.
