As I've been covering the war in Israel, I've asked myself time and time again, how can

I describe Israel to people who aren't Jewish or who haven't been to that part of the

world?

Because if you know Israel only from these headlines, you might think that it's just

the center of war and religion, and that is part of the story, but what you might not

know is that it's also the center of entrepreneurship, culture, and resilience.

Some of the biggest companies of this century have come out of Israel, especially in tech,

companies like Ways, Monday.com, Fiverr, and so many more.

I wanted to unpack why Israel has become a startup hub, what the impact of war will have

on industries, including tech worldwide, and how the psyche of such a persecuted part

of the world can remain so resilient.
