Welcome to the Bronx Pins Stripe Show.

This is episode 554.

Today, I was joined by Chad Jennings of the Athletic in Boston.

He's been on the show a number of times to talk about the Red Sox.

And the Yankees are going to be playing the Red Sox this year.

It's the first time they've played them in June, which is weird scheduling to begin with.

But it's also a meaningful series for the Yankees and the Red Sox.

And that is not something we necessarily thought was going to happen because we thought the

Red Sox were going to stink this year.

And it turns out they don't stink.

So I talked to Chad about why they don't stink.

So stay tuned for that.

Before we get to that, though, quickly want to just mention the first couple games of the

Tampa series.
