Today's episode, we're going to talk about the Mavs nine game losing streak. Is it as bad as it seems? What do we think about the Mavs game against the Lakers? Nashi Marshall leaves with an injury. Daniel Gafford leaves with an injury. Kup was out with an injury. Everybody's getting angry online about stuff, especially tanking. And so that's where I want

to start right here, slightly biased, is the Utah Jazz got fined of $500,000, not to short change

on there, $500,000 for tanking, for sitting players in the fourth quarter. And they spent, NBA specifically

mentioned two games. One of the games they won. And they also find the Indiana Pacers for tanking games they find them a hundred thousand

dollars and people are all up in arms about this and about all the well we're only just doing what

the NBA says we're like all right the NBA says that the only way that us small market teams

are going to get these stars if we tank if we get to the top of the draft and we're not in it anyway.

So what's the point?

What's the point of these games?

And now the NBA has this issue where these teams like almost half the league, it seems

like at this point is not interested in winning games right now or it's not actively trying

everything that they can to win games.

And now we're at a

problem where these teams are like doing it within games not just sitting guys for the game right

you go into a game you're like oh well jaron jackson jr jr's going to sit for this game nope he's getting

sat in the fourth quarter and the NBA had to step in this isn't a new thing the raptors did this

last year for a ton of the season.

And I was upset about it. I remember talking about it on Locked on NBA game night about this.

The thing about the Dallas Mavericks and all this, the Mavs are flying up the tank standings in a way.

They've lost nine straight games. Their longest losing streak since 1998.
