Really, that's the formula here.

You've got to surround yourself with goodness.

And I was watching this documentary,

and the first person I thought about to speak about this, because I wanted to talk about it.

You know, you watch something, you're like, I have to talk about this with somebody.

So I said, who better than Grammy nominated covers of vibe, covers of Newsweek, the man,

the myth, the legend. When we free the world, yes, his new documentary that's out, so he knows a little bit about documentaries. Kevin Powell, hey. Morning. I'm such a big DG's fan. Okay. All right. So I didn't even tell. Okay. So I'm sorry. I don't know. This is perfect. This is perfect.

So I'm on the radio.

You know, we're having this conversation.

I don't know how we got around.

It wasn't even a Friday to disco and, you know, how they radio killed disco.

And then one of the callers brought up the BG's documentary, which I hadn't seen because, you know, I lived the BGs. So I feel like, why do I need to watch something that I know? I know their story, right? The BGs, how can you mend a broken heart? It came out in 2020. It's beautiful. You can, I think you can even watch it on YouTube. I was like, man, I got intrigued to go watch it.

And, you know, the first part of it is their backstory growing up. You know, your dad, basically being triplets, you know, when they hear comes in.

And then them discovering this kind of harmony that only they can produce and the beauty of their voices. And then the backstory of staying alive, you know, and the down to vote done.

Like it's, it was wonderful.

And then they get to the disco part.

It's almost like they slide into it, but it's seamless.

And I got immediately angry because I look at where we are today, Kevin, and I say,

for people to be so undeveloped and just bitter with their own lives that they want to destroy other people's joy.
