They want us to spend all our money on the military, but you know, as well as I do,

it's a salutarian and authoritarian regime, like the Chinese Communist Party fears one thing.

Today, sit down with former acting Secretary of Defense, Christopher Miller,

author of Soldier Secretary, warnings from the battlefield and the Pentagon about America's

most dangerous enemies. I don't know what the single person said. Oh, the reason I'm

joining the militaries I want to fight the culture wars. In this wide-ranging interview,

we discuss his vision for major reform of the military and his reflections on operations work

Christopher Miller, such a pleasure to have you on American Thought Leaders.

Yann, I'm nervous as a kitten right now. It took, I had to write a book to get in your show and

then cash to tell my dear friend a great American. It's like, you're going on the show. So thanks

for having me. I'm not worthy of what we're American Thought Leader. I don't consider myself that

way, but I really appreciate you having me on. I kind of find it a little bit difficult to believe

that you're nervous as a kitten here because, you know, numerous times in the book, you describe

situations which would make most people probably faint, and I'm not kidding. And those are the

moments where you're calm and collected and know what to do. So you've had a very, very interesting

career. I mean, you started as a private in the infantry. I mean, that is the toughest

slog that I'm, as far as I know, and this is what I've always heard. You went through, you went

into special forces, you became a special operator. And ultimately, in 2018, you ended up running

counterterrorism for the, at the NSC. I mean, that was in Trump, quite the trajectory to get there.

And you were, you were confirmed 99 to zero if I recall correctly. So clearly, they were pretty
