in a sec here, but there is a sense that this time last year, people, one big question that I kept getting asked from a lot of our listeners who I said, like, hey, the reason they let those guys go in free agency was to build up the comp picks so they can have extra picks next year in hopes that next year is a better quarterback draft class. Like people said, what if it's not a better quarterback draft class?

I'm like, well, you deal with that when you get there.

And now we're here and maybe it's worse.

I say Mendoza is still pretty good.

But it's still not the situation that I think the Steelers should want to be in

if they want to find their legitimate franchise quarterback with a first round pick in this year's draft class.
