What is your underwear made of?

I'm serious.

Is your underwear made of a synthetic material like polyester or rayon or acrylic

or nylon or any other fabric that's difficult to pronounce? Synthetic materials trap in heat and

moisture and they are not preferred by doctors and when it comes to synthetic

materials from an eco-friendly standpoint there's so many things wrong with them.

They often contain plastic.

Some newer synthetics, by the way, are composed of up to 64% plastic.

And because they're hard to donate,

they're therefore difficult to dispose of.

And so synthetics contribute to long-term pollution.

Synthetic fibers also pollute our waterways too because the

waste byproduct that's created when manufacturing these synthetics is flushed

into our waterways and into our sewers.

Okay, so if your underwear is not made of a synthetic material,

is it made of cotton?

Well, most people don't realize that cotton apparel is an agricultural product just like food, right?
