Oh, hello. No intro music, no intro. It's just me. For the past year, I've been alluding to the fact that something happened to my memoir and that I would tell you what it was that happened when the book was closer to coming out and

I was told I had to delete the entire story of the domestic violence I experienced when I was very, very young.

And what happened in that relationship was so intense, it has shaped me, it has shaped the

entirety of who I am for better or for worse. Just kidding, definitely for the worse. So when they told me to delete every

mention of it from my memoir, I refused. Telling that story was the main reason I'd even wanted to write the book.

Not to mention, structurally, the domestic violence story was the first chapter and the last chapter and some parts in the middle.

It was the entire structure, the entire storytelling structure. The entire storytelling structure.

The first chapter covered what happened when I was younger.

And the last chapter picked up exactly 10 years later when it all came back into my life again.
