Good to see you, man. Welcome to Real Man. So good to have you guys. And if you're one of the new guys, we're so honored to have you. And I'll just tell you guys know, I'm at the age in my life. I can make no attempt to be cool, so I'm just trying to be helpful, amen. And I want to help you guys. I really love you. You guys mean the world to me. And this is such a joy and such an honor to teach men. And we just know if you get the men, you win the war. If you activate the men, the men get activated and they fix all the other problems. So welcome to real men. And what we like to say is we build men up to bless women and children and so that's really why we're here and

so what i have the honor of doing is preaching and teaching and we're in a series called flawed but

faithful and it's in a book of the bible called hebrews and it's a chapter chapter 11 and it lists

16 people in the old testament and how they had a relationship with god by faith and how they grew in that relationship with God by faith. And we're looking at each of them as a bit of a case study. And for you, men, some of you are going to really relate to the guy I'm talking about tonight. Some of you guys have made some really bad decisions. Some of you have caused some real pain and problem in your life. And if there's grace for him, there's grace for you. If there's hope for him, there's hope for you. In addition, some of you, men, you're on the precipice of making some really important decisions. And it's God's warning to you. It's God's grabbing you by the collar and saying, son, listen to me. This is not going to end well. you need to pivot as soon as possible. And so I'm going to talk about a guy named Samson.

If you're new to Bible study, he's wildly, wildly wild. And if you're thinking, I got a son, I'm going to name him something in the Bible. Just don't decide to name him Samson until the end of the sermon, okay? Just just just look at this guy's life. And he is a wild man.

And he is a wild man. I mean, he is just, he is, he's, prostitutes, murder and alcohol.

These are a few of my favorite things. That's his life. It's wild. It's wild. And most of the

time, if that's your resume, you don't get to be a hero in the Bible. But God includes him in Hebrews 11. So let me read it to you. Here's where we go. And what more shall I say? For time with family to tell love. And he's going to talk about guys that are judges in a book of the Bible called judges, Gideon, Barak, Samson, and Jephas. And we're going to look at Samson.

So if you want to study more about Samson, you can find him in the Old Testament book of

Judges, chapters 13 through 16. I did an entire sermon series on him a few years ago, went into

his life in great detail. You can grab that at real faith, but this is an overview.

And his name means sunny, but he's not that bright.

He rules and reigns for about 20 years.

He's the longest judge in Israel.
