1:14.6 | An average non-overweight person has about 77,000 calories of stored fat. |
1:21.6 | And only 1700 calories of stored sugar. |
1:27.6 | So, if our bodies were meant for carbs, why do we have such a short storage facility of glycogen, 1700 calories, and not a larger capacity to store carbohydrates? |
1:38.6 | So, no, our bodies were meant to live off the fat. |
1:41.6 | And that's why we have such a large capacity sitting there to use. |
1:44.6 | So, unless a person does low carb, and in a minute fasting, they never have a chance to tap into all this extra energy, this potential energy. |
1:52.6 | And they just keep depleting their glycogen reserve, filling it back up with carbs, depleting it, filling it back up with carbs. |
1:58.6 | And this is why so many health conditions improve when you do healthy ketosis. |
2:03.6 | And so many conditions worsen when you run your body and sugar, which is called glycolysis. |
2:09.6 | So, ketosis and immun fasting is nothing new. It's been around for a very, very long time. |
