Hello, friends. My recent conversation with Dacey Gillespie made me think about my journey

with clothing rental, which kicked off in the fall of 2022. I shared about my clothing rental

experiment here on the podcast on December 1st of that year.

And it seems to be working because, well, I've been doing it for about two and a half years.

In that time frame, the only thing I have purchased is a pack of underwear and two pairs of old

navy jeans because I was tired of wearing skinny jeans, so wanted some basic straight-leg jeans.

My family has otherwise gifted me pajamas and socks at my requested holidays or birthdays,

but otherwise, I have to say, it has been pretty amazing to not buy anything.

In mid-20203, after I left my creative director agency job to strike out on my own as a freelancer,

I had way less meetings, even when I eventually was managing the same number of clients,
