Okay, first and foremost for everybody's listening to this podcast, let's get the

elephant out of the room. I'm here with the iconic author, Jim Miller. We did this

podcast already several months ago. Unfortunately, there was a technical hiccup and it was

not recorded, but let me give you the preview to everybody at home. It was one of the

great conversations in societal history. It was a love vest. We really got into it. I was

super thrilled with it. I fell in love. You know, what's sad is what will not happen

in this podcast is you could see my, what was my admiration from afar for many years

because as many of you who are listening know, I don't really read books and I ironically

read several of Jim's books. He's the only author I actually think that I've read more

than once. You could literally see my from afar admiration turned into real life admiration.

We got into a ton of parenting and psychology and just epic shit all lost in the ether,

Mr. Miller. We should tell everybody that because I think the cadence of this interview will

have to be contextual to that one. As you can tell right away, I love to be authentic

with my audience. How are you my friend? I'm doing all right. I actually, sorry, we can't

repeat what we did before but glad to be back. Have you been? How was your new years

all that? You know, I think in this day and age as long as my kids are healthy and I'm

healthy. It's a win-win. The bar is very low. I want to talk about Tinder bucks but before

we do that, why don't you give everybody a little bit of an overview of what you do professionally.

We'll do a little bit more origin story which I loved the last time I've talked about it

again. The mother's stuff really hits with me. But why don't you tell everybody what you

do? I just finished my fifth book which is called Tinder Box. It's a history of HBO and prior
