Starting with the Labor Day strikes at hotels, what was the scope of the strike?

Hotels had a little over 23,000 rooms in them, so since it was a very busy holiday weekend for travel, a record number of people being screened by TSA at airports and 9% increase in domestic travel,

hotels loud picket lines out front all the hotel stayed open, but it probably wasn't the most pleasant place to be stained at any of them.
