We don't have King George these days, but we have the federal government.

This is your host, Daniel Herwitz back today.

Getting towards the end of the week, Thursday, getting towards my vacation time at the end

of the summer, but there is so much to talk about.

We don't even have time for a vacation because nowadays the enemy is from within.

Okay, it's not King George.

And today we're going to ask the question, why even have a federal government?

And it's a loaded question because it's a rhetorical question.

It's not why even have it. It's once the government no longer serves its few and defined that

is the federal government, few and defined proper functions.

Then it's a double edged sword and you're only going to get the tyranny, not the benefits

from the government.

So affirmatively we can answer we shouldn't have one.

Now not that I think we're ever going to be able to abolish the federal government,

but I think making this argument will further buttress the national divorce and the way we

get there, which is widespread state interposition in the mold that Madison laid out in federal

is 46.

And we're now at a juncture really acrossroads.
