So I was outside the other night with my son looking up at the sky and we were having a great time and he turned to me and he asked me a question.

He said, hey, Dad, why are there stars? You mean like movie stars?

No, why Astronomical Stars? He wanted to know. Oh, wow. What did you say?

Well, I thought he was asking me like, why do stars exist? You know, why do we have bright stars in the sky?

So of course, I give him a long physics explanation for you know, how fusion works and all this kind of stuff.

I wonder what it's like to have your dad be a physics professor.
