to the World Cup. Eager to talk to them both. But before they come in, my reported monologue on

the question of Americans coming together around something that really should unite everybody,

which is the tragic story of Americans assaulted, often killed by people

who are in this country legally. And the Democratic Party's failure to grapple with it,

but as a political issue, but also as a moral issue. Every time I speak now, just for the last

20 years or so, out in public or online, I get,

almost always get a version of the same question, what could bring the country together?

And I always say, well, if we weren't brought together by Bill Clinton, George W. Bush,

and Barack Obama, it's going to be hard to do because those three guys were by inclination

and history and

intention determined to bring the country together as president.
