0:48.4	thank you for last month coming up with the family for that visitation we're still reverberating
0:54.5	from that fun time yeah thank you yeah it's good to be in your home and and I
0:59.3	think to be destroyed at table tennis by your sons that was I know the feeling
1:04.8	only was in your hands yeah I know last time we chatted we spoke about your
1:09.4	book on death essentially and cremation, these sorts of things.
1:13.4	And we never really got around to talking about it until the last 20 minutes.
1:16.6	But today I am really excited to talk about this topic because obviously in this day and age, especially in America, but all throughout the world, people are talking about religion and society and maybe Western civilization coming
1:28.3	undone at the seams. And so there's a real interest, I think, in this. So maybe just to begin with,
1:32.9	tell us why you wrote the book. Well, I had my reasons. I think our Lord had his. Over 50 books
1:39.4	I've authored, co-authored, or edited in the last 35 years or so.
1:44.7	But never have I had a sense of timing for the two that came out in this auspicious year of 2020.
1:51.8	The one that you mentioned a moment ago, hoped to die, the Christian meeting of death and the
1:56.0	resurrection of the body, came out in the immediate aftermath of the COVID pandemic and the shutdown everywhere in the church and in the world.
