With a woman to look at culture from a Christian worldview, I'm John Stone Street with a point.

Late last month, 18-year-old Chloe Cole sued medical provider Kaiser Permanente for surgically

and chemically altering her body.

Put on puberty blockers at age 12, Chloe started testosterone at age 13 and underwent a

double mastectomy at 15.

By 16, she realized the mistake she'd made and has now detransitioned.

No one warned her to pause or to reconsider or to take more time in this decision.

Chloe's one of countless girls that are today being pressured by doctors, teachers, peers,

and media to believe they were born in a wrong body.

As Jordan Peterson noted in his interview with Cole, 80-90% of teens who experienced

gender dysphoria naturally grow out of it.

Instead of helping girls navigate puberty and its challenges, too many adults seek to

pathologize it.

Chloe's story reaffirms that any ideas that we have about our bodies will have consequences.

And bad ideas will have victims, like Chloe.

This pray that her story can help expose the lie of so-called gender-affirming care

and bring it in to this cultural nightmare.
