A lot of, I think, investors have this misconception that they're going to own a piece of real

They're like, oh, yeah, I mean, I buy this.

And then I own it for like 30 years and pass it down to my kids.

And it's like, if you look at the biggest funds in the world and people, they're always

trading in and out of assets.

And they're always trying to get a return and everything else.

And it's like, nobody truly like holds things for decades. And

one of the reasons I think is because of this idea of return on equity. And so like for you,

let's say you bought, um, what were one of these properties you bought in 2009? Like, how much did you

pay? 200,000 to 300,000. Yeah. So you, you say you300K,000 and what was it worth in 2017 when you're looking at it?

So it's like, sure, it cash flows because you bought it so cheap and rents of rows. But when you look at it, it's like, okay,

this is making me, I don't know, 30, 40 grand a year in cash flow. But if I were to tap,

you know, out of all this and get 600K in cash, how much could I make with that 600K?

Absolutely. Return on that money that's sitting there doing nothing. Absolutely right.

Yeah. And so that's what people don't really understand is like you start to as you build a

portfolio you look at and you're like and for me that's what happened. I looked at different assets I own.

I'm like well, I mean, even my person, I'll give you an example, my personal house right now, it's like, okay, I've got, you know, depending on what somebody ends up buying it for, let's call it anywhere from half a million to a million dollars of equity, right? And it's like, well, it's literally not worth anything to me right now, living in it. Like, it doesn't make any money. So if I sell it, what's the opportunity costs that I'm missing out on by not selling it, right?
