Why Avengers Endgame broke the internet. This is Dr. Jim Denison's The Daily

Article podcast for Thursday, April 4th, 2019. Avengers Endgame won't be released until April 26th,

but it broke the internet yesterday. Six hours after tickets went on sale, the film had

0:17.8

already surpassed the number of ticket sales in the first 24 hours for the previous record holder.

Star Wars, The Force Awakens.

1:25.9

creator. In mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis wrote, God made us, invented us as a man invents an engine. A car is made to run on petrol, and it would not run properly on anything else. Now God designed the human machine to run on himself. He himself is the fuel our spirits were designed to burn, or the food our spirits were designed to feed on. There is no other.

1:45.2

That is why it is just no good asking God to make us happy in our own way without bothering

1:48.9

about religion.

1:50.3

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from himself, because it is not there.

1:54.5

Because we were created to depend on our creator, Satan has tempted us across human

1:58.3

history to be like God.
