Welcome to the program today.

Mono Gonzalez here in studio, but I have through Skype a good friend, Graham Keelan, who lives

in England.

And we wanted to really spend some time discussing really the whole nation of Israel.

As you might be seeing, there's been a lot of challenging things happening, especially in

England. I want to get Graham's

thoughts on that as well. But it seems that anti-Semitism is raising its head all around the world

in response to Israel simply defending itself from a terrorist slaughter. But as we do that, we want to

always get back to the Bible and ask about the importance of Israel. So what Graham and I want to do

over the next few weeks is to tackle some of these topics.

Graham lives in England.

He is a historian, certainly a theologian.

He's very knowledgeable about so many things.

I had the chance to participate with him in a conference there last month.

And so as we address these issues, I want to just let you know where we're

going over the next, in this series. We're going to talk today about the inheritance. Whose land

is it from a biblical perspective, you know, the Old Testament and the New Testament? We're also

going to talk next time about Jerusalem, and Jesus calls it a city of vengeance and talk about that.

The coming of really evangelicals and Puritans talking in the sense of the history of the church

and how the Puritans had left the land of England and how they focused on a lot of

Israel or Zionistic topics.

Also talk about modern Britain in the sense of the Balfour Declaration.
