Thanks for joining me in today's episode. We are going to straighten up your whole house. We're going to make a

little bit of progress in each room. In case you're new to the show, I don't normally sound like

this. I'm sick right now, but I'm bringing you an episode. Anyway, if you've been listening

for a while, you know that I tend to use the term cleaning loosely

to include that preliminary decluttering that you do to get down to the surfaces before you clean.

Well, today's episode is a little less about surface cleaning as far as scrubbing and more

about straightening each area of your home, tidying up, if you will.

So it's time to gear up for your cleaning session.

For you, that might mean freshening up. Maybe you feel

like you need to wash your face and put your hair up or change into something more presentable

or more comfortable or maybe you'd like to put some fresh wax and a wax warmer or light a candle.

By the way, one of my so-called wax warmers is actually a miniature crock pot.

I don't know if anybody's ever seen this, but sometimes when you buy a slow cooker, it comes with like a miniature one,

I guess for keeping a small amount of sauce hot, but there's just never a situation where I need to do that.

So I tried putting the little wax melts in this little mini crackpot thing or sauce warmer,

if you will, and that has become yet an additional wax warmer in my house. It works great.

Sometimes in the morning I will just dump the old wax into the trash and put some

fresh wax in in there. So just a thought there if you have one of those miniature slow

cookers and you don't use it for sauce. But maybe it just me the next thing you might want to do to gear up for your

cleaning session or as part of our cleaning session is to get those machines running and by

machines I mean your washing machine and your dishwasher if you have one.
