I'm curious about who are the Romanovs and what happened to them.

And to answer this question we've got Brad Domeray, he's amazing, he's a Russian historian,

and to go a little bit further with that I'm going to throw that over to Brad and let

him talk about his specialty a little more.

Brad, my PhD is in sort of Russian culture early 20th century, mostly literature music

and LGBT issues, but because this is kind of my era historically, this is kind of in my

general wheelhouse, although I'm not a historian of the family, hopefully I can at least fill

in some of the details, the context.

I mean, you have me at PhD. I mean, I'm like, you guys, you should have just seen how much

I've perked up.

So Brad totally just like gave me a really sobering fact, right, as we put our gorgeous

headphones on.

So my whole life thought that Anastasia was a Disney film, but it's not.

I thought she was like Pocahontas, I thought she was like Mulan, she's not.

It's a whole other thing, but that's where the inspiration from this episode comes.

It's totally fine, it's great, but it's Don Bluth who I love dearly as an animator,

so still, still on a bright end.
