We got yelled out a couple times in D.C. for not providing enough content.

So we're back in office.

But we are still on sort of semi-vacation, right?

You can be putting episodes out here and there and here and there.

Daryl still has a pinia colada in hand and like a straw hat on. He's like half vacation mode. Hawaiian shirts, doing this from a recliner. But then business slacks and business shoes. I like the mix and match approach to vacation. I'm nothing if not unfashionable. You can tell we both been in a professional office space, by the way I called them business slacks and you didn't correct me. I just assumed that was the term. We have some news, though, right? So we're going to be off as well next week. There might be an episode of the Total Sox Show next week. But next week there will be the launch of an entirely new venture. We have a new show coming out. Are we going to say the name this time? Yes, we are. For the first time we're going to say the name. It's going to be called Soccer 101. Soccer 101. And it's going to be a series of soccer explainers. I wanted to call it the Cooligans 2. Darrell wouldn't let me. Electric Bruguletons. Yeah, just shoulder in on that one.

But yes, Joe instead thought maybe soccer one would be more appropriate given what we're going to be talking about. Yeah, so soccer 101 will be essentially, it's a little bit like how stuff works, right? We'll be like, here's how offside works. Here's the history of offside. Here's everything you need to know about offside and here's how to beat an offside track.

And like I think one we've already done is Darby's sort of a history of the word and an origin of it or possible explanations for an origin of it. But then also looking at some of our favorite ones at the same time. Yeah. I listened back to that one. Because we've recorded these over this period of months, right? It's been a long time coming to launch this show.

Are there teams that don't exist anymore that were like,

Yeah, half of them folded um but it was we did the most interesting darbys so there's a lot of like really quirky interesting stories within each one i am really excited to launch soccer 101 think it's going to be really well received that feels like a thing that we talked out for a while and decided like do you want to do

like that exactly yeah biggest most violent those are not the most fun to talk about

and so the big thing is because total sock show is newsy right sucker 101 everything

is more or less evergreen so launch with a bunch of episodes I I think about 10 episodes or so. And you'll be able to listen to those at any point. They should be good a year from now. There should be good two years from now. And it's all about sort of if you're interested in soccer and you want to learn more about a specific topic, there's no news in there. You can just dig deep on a specific topic. And honestly, learn a bunch of stuff because we learned a bunch of stuff. And then we brought it into the studio.
