I love what the psalmist says in Psalm 51 where he says,

Let me hear joy and gladness that I may know that the bones which thou has broken may rejoice.

Let me hear joy and gladness. Who's joy and gladness is a psalmist talking about?

Gods! He's saying for me to come back to you, let me know you'd be glad to see me.

Let me hear you be joyful and let me hear you be glad, God,

because if I don't think you're glad to have me, how can I come back to that?

Some of you have tried to come back because you feel condemned.

And today he's a lifter of your head. Why would we stay with someone that we just think disdains and condemns us?

Why? That cannot be our motivation for our heart coming home.

You come home and we're free to change. We're free to be different because we're loved.

Now I'm telling you, I'm just all over that. Maybe I'm a sat, but I'm all over that.

All right, now look at this. This is important. This is important.

Everybody say this is important. All right, now watch this change in terminology.

Now I want you to watch this. All right, here we've got a verse 31,

who can be against us? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Is it what or who? What does it say? Who can be against us?

Verse 33, what does that say? Who will? Who will bring any charge against those who God has chosen?

What does 34 say? Who is he that condemns and then 35 says who shall separate us?

Who? Who? Who? Who? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

And then I want you to look down on verse 37, note in all these things.
